Hello Team BoomDevs,

Hope you are doing well. I am contacting you regarding a code I need to paste to the theme function, given by your colleague Ruben.

Ruben advise me to create a child theme so I will not have to copy-paste the code after each update ๐Ÿ™‚ I follow his smart advice and created a child theme. However, when I try to paste this code in my child theme function, it is refused as you can see here, even though I copy it from there: https://pastebin.com/FJH8Aa2D

Here you can see the error I have: https://ibb.co/hx0wQv3

Could you help me understand why it does not work?

Thanks a lot for your incredible support,
Best regards,
Sophie

Hello mam

Your problem has been resolved. You couldn’t do that because the code was already declared on the parent theme. We just pasted those codes into the child theme after removing them from the parent theme. Now it works perfectly.

Happy Tuesday Shamiul,

Thank you very much for your help, and for explaining the issue in detail, you are the best!

I copied all your code and CSS so I don’t have to bother you in the future for these product list widgets if the problem comes back ๐Ÿ˜‰

I wish you a very good day,
Best regards,
Sophie
